ShareaCard.org was founded in 1999 as a special program of the CACFriends to send specially crafted and store bought cards to the terminal and critically ill. Our mission is to bring them comfort and help them not feel alone. We have learned how valuable this is to someone who is very ill - it is something to look forward to and help them make it through many difficult days. Here are just a few of the comments made by past features, family members and friends. Won't you join us send just one or two cards a month?
Short stories
By the age of four, Roger Dean Kiser had been abandoned, first by his parents and then his grandparents and placed in a Florida orphanage. Unable to adapt to the difficult, often cruel and abusive environment of the orphanage, and stigmatized by his repeated attempts to run away, he was transferred to a Florida reform school at age twelve.
Now an adult, Roger Dean Kiser writes about his childhood along with his current day tales. A real-life Tom Sawyer, Roger's stories find a common ground in each of us. Roger Dean Kiser is a simple man with only a sixth grade education yet he possesses a wonderful ability, storytelling.

I've recently added a page with information about breast cancer; & a page supporting our troops. My entire feeling with this site was to make it for all; child safe; and caring.
